Dear readers. Today marks the one-year anniversary of the Roots of Liberty here at Substack. While the original blog, which launched in the summer of 2016, drew a dedicated audience, the move to Substack has more than quadrupled readership, and for that I and my guest bloggers thank you very much.
366 posts totaling nearly 350,000 words have, I hope, offered you some new ideas, new viewpoints, and food for thought. And, above all, an appreciation for both the importance and fragility of liberty.
Your eyes and minds are why we write, and I hope you will not only continue with us into the next year and beyond, but share liberally with friends and acquaintances both the posts themselves and whatever points, snippets, or thoughts that resonate with you. And, of course, invite them to join the community here.
Again, thank you, sincerely and deeply, for reading, and a very special double-extra-large thank you to our paid subscribers!
Best wishes for the holiday season and a happy New Year to you all!
Peter.
Thanks for all your interesting and informative insights and those of your guest writers. I don’t always agree but every piece makes me think.
