Ending On A Whimper

Joe Biden issued his farewell address the other day, a week before Trump becomes only the second person to serve non-consecutive terms as President. Biden's closing remarks don't just mark the end of his single term, but also the end of the Obama-Biden-Harris (OBH) era of American politics. Barring a, in my opinion, highly improbable run by Michelle Obama or Jill Biden in 2028, or an equally improbable entry into the public spotlight of one of the puppet masters of this regime (N.B. Valerie Jarrett, considered by some to be the chief puppet master, was born in Iran, and American Presidents need to be native-born), we've seen the last of this clique.

Yes, clique. The nation's governance twelve of the last sixteen years, and shadow "resistance" the other four, has all the hallmarks of a small group of Best-and-Brightest who deemed the public so stupid or ignorant as to require managing rather than serving, with all the blather about “saving Democracy” proving to be farce rather than heroism.

This makes one of Biden's remarks rather ironic.
