I shared it to Facebook, in the closed “NRPlus” group, with a snarky comment.
It got flagged as “hate speech.”
At first, I thought the algorithms objected to the blurb, so I tried again, without the blurb, on my main feed.
Same outcome.
I’d love to hear if any readers who are willing to risk being put in the dock experience a similar result.
Facebook rescinded the warning, with a mea culpa. So, I will grant the possibility that the algorithms simply got it wrong.
Of course, the cynic in me notes that my feed was littered with shares of this story from a variety of other sites, so perhaps they just said "we can't snuff this one."
This is election interference.
