🤣I was listening to Three Dog Night. I never heard the lyrics of any of the WSS songs but you sure hit it on the nose as being Orwellian.
I remember seeing the film when it came out! I was in 7th grade. The words to that song were not lost in me then. Excuses. Not reasons.
So... nothing has changed since the 60s, except that the excuse-makers won the battle and now teach their mantras in public school.
