Tariff Addiction

The passage of time often helps clear fog and reveal intent. Recent pronouncements by Trump are doing just that to the questions regarding the intent behind the tariffs he has been wielding like Negan's bat. His latest bit, threatening Apple with a 25% tariff unless the company starts building iPhones in America, puts the lie to many of the notional goals his supporters have put forth in his defense.
