The Narrative Crumbles

As I read news reports of Big Tech eliminating fact-checkers and Big Business repudiating DEI, ESG, and other knee-bends to the Left, I notice a persistent tone. That is, it's reported that they are adjusting for Trump and his presidency.

Under-noted or outright ignored is the thing I've been saying since 2016: that Trump is a symptom, not a cause. Trump got elected because voters were fed up with the Left, with Woke, with a government that treated them as sheep to be (disdainfully) herded rather than individuals to be represented, and with an increasingly radical cultural shift imposed on them by a noisy minority.

Also under-reported are parallel shifts and repudiations elsewhere in the Western world.
