The Transgender Power Grab

Leftists, Liberals, Progressives, and others who believe that Big Government is The Solution To All Problems like to partner up with selected special interests.  Together, they work to exert more power and control over our fortunes and private lives. 

The latest unholy alliance is with the gays and transgenders - especially the transgenders.  These are people who have chosen to live, or become, the opposite sex other than how they were born. 

I’ve never really been able to figure out why there is this high correlation between alternate sexual lifestyle and leftist politics.  But I digress.

Social isolation.

And so, transgenders and gays have become a huge political force.  Here is a huge list of LGBT rights organizations just here in the United States.  But lately, they have adopted a powerful new tactic that goes like this:  if anybody so much as suggests denying their demands, then it will make them victims.  “Everybody hates us!” they say.  It will cause Distress, Isolation, Substance Abuse, or Suicide (I call it DISAS for short; yeah it’s a disaster all right).  It’s like a form of blackmail.  The whining and wailing surpasses even what Donald Trump puts out. 

Now let me say that, personally, I don’t care what anybody does in private, or what they do with their bodies, on their own time, at their own expense.  It is none of my concern.  But when it all becomes a power grab, then I get concerned.  The power grab, and what they will do to get it, knows no bounds.  Read here about a transgender protest in New Zealand to illustrate their hateful mindset.

Girls’ Sports

But the worst of the worst out there is this business of transexual females (born male but “identify” with females) competing with girls (born female) in sports.  As one might guess, the transgender former-guys-now-girls dominate.  They clean up.  Big time.

Bathrooms for all!

Oh, and these boys-pretending-to-be-girls also demand to use the same bathrooms and showers as the girls.

I learned a very important life lesson back when I was about thirteen or so.  It goes like this:  boys and girls are different!  Once past puberty, boys are bigger, stronger, tougher.  I know that statement probably offends most leftist-liberals.  Sorry.  Deal with it.

One would think that these “woke” liberals would indeed wake up and realize that:  hey - something’s not right here!  Someone should say:  “This is not what we intended!”  But no.  They cheer it on!  Why?  Well, because, if we denied these trans boys the “right” to play on the team matching their “identity,” it would offend them!  It would cause DISAS!  We can’t have that!!

The real victims here are the girls - meaning born female.  They have struggled for generations to have sports for them.  And now the leftist liberals are reverting back to the days when, if you’re a girl and want to play sports, you must play against guys.  Did anyone consider that that might cause girl DISAS?

What about the other way around?  What if a girl-identifying-as-a-boy wanted to play on the boys’ team?  In all honesty, your typical guy would say: Bring it on, baby!  Ditto for using the boys’ bathroom and showers with us guys.

As I have stated many times, the biggest root cause of this whole dilemma is our government-run education system.  Putting politicians, bureaucrats, and labor unions in charge of something as important as educating our children is a terrible idea.  The mere fact that the liberals in charge turned the concept of “girls’ sports” completely upside down is proof positive that one-size-fits-all schooling  does not work.  Instead, let the free market sort out thorny questions like what exactly constitutes “gender.”

An ultimately fair solution.

In the meantime, as long as the schools and their affiliated sports are run by the government, and the leftist-liberals don’t want to offend trans students and induce DISAS, then here is an ultimately fair solution that satisfies everyone:  In this Age Of Enlightenment, we have learned that “male” versus “female” is an arbitrary, cultural artifact from times long past.  Today, we have a whole range of genders, and our children can freely choose the one that best fits.  Schools and sports should follow suit.  Let’s end this antiquated practice of separate sports teams for “boys” and “girls,” and instead, simply have a single league where anyone can play!  Doctors’ notes, hormonal levels, and genitalia checks no longer needed.  Oh, and there is only one bathroom, for all.  How fair and equal can you get?  Who could possibly object?!?
