Ponder a land where the lawless are elevated above the law-abiding.
Where petty crimes by some are ignored and sometimes even encouraged, but the rights of the law-abiding are decried, denounced, and infringed at every possible turn.
Where racism is taught to children, and people who decry this are called racists.
Where good people who aren't comfortable with unlimited State power are cast as villains, but the violent and malevolent who align with the State's desires are accepted or encouraged.
Where the acts of a few should not, we are told, condemn the many, but where the acts of a few are, we are told, the dark, sordid truth of the many.
Where according-to-Hoyle fascists condemn their ideological foes as fascist.
Where those who'd exercise their Constitutionally protected rights are impeded with aggressive zeal and sinister threats.
Where the President, the person elected to represent all the nation's citizens, condemns half its voters as a threat to democracy while embracing imagery that would make Leni Riefenstahl shed a tear of joy.
Biden's speech, identified at whitehouse.gov as "REMARKS BY PRESIDENT BIDEN ON THE CONTINUED BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF THE NATION," runs almost exactly 3000 words and about 25 minutes.
It's full of howlers and awash in projection. I'd fisk it, but your eyes would glaze over before I got 10% of the way in. I'll just note that Biden says "MAGA Republicans" ten times, and "MAGA" three additional times, and while he does take a moment to declaim that "[n]ot every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans," he then drops his big truth bomb:
MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law.
Who just cancelled half a trillion dollars in student loan debt on a legal pretext so flimsy I wouldn't trust it to wrap fish?
Who illegally mandated that private employees be vaccinated against COVID?
Who illegally dictated that the eviction moratorium would continue, in open defiance of the Supreme Court?
I could go on for days. Volumes have been written on the Administration's wanton disregard for both the rule of law and its duty to faithfully enforce the law.
The fish stinks from the head, and the stink has crept across the body. The FBI and DoJ, both institutions that are supposed to be nonpartisan and outside politics, are overt extensions of the DNC. The IRS, already weaponized by Joe's former boss, has been handed a vast sum of money with which to make mischief upon the out-of-favor. The CDC, another institution that has a nonpartisan purpose, has become an enforcement mechanism for leftist policy. In my home state of New York, the governor and legislature (both as reliably Team Blue as can be) are openly defying the Supreme Court with a passel of new gun control laws that flagrantly violate the recent Bruen decision. Roll back just a bit, and behold the embrace of lawlessness and violence when certain protests and protestors were deemed too important to be prosecuted.
All these "do not respect the Constitution" moments are embraced and applauded by the Left. Just as leftists use (misinterpreted) Christian teachings to try and shame conservatives without actually embracing those teachings themselves, they use (their misinterpretation of) the Constitution to try and cow everyone else into submission, without giving a flying rat's patootie about it when it gets in their way.
Who's the real threat, Joe?
The reactions to Biden’s speech are a positive sign, as is his furious post-hoc effort to reassure us that he was only naming a few outliers rather than all Republicans. Whoever thought this was a good idea is so out of touch and so steeped in echo-chamber Trump derangement that the blatantly obvious echoes of a certain Third Reich went unnoticed.
Oh, and extra shame on Joe for standing two Marines in his agitprop diorama.

Trump and his most loyal followers have every constitutional right to believe the 2020 election was stolen and rigged - just as Hillary's followers and media enablers were permitted the same latitude in 2016 and as Al Gore's voters were given the same wide constitutional grace in 2000. It is unseemly and divisive to dwell on the topic, but that's politics. When you're in office, your focus is supposed to be on governance (of the whole nation, for the good of the whole nation), not campaigning. Bush totally ignored those detractors after 2000 and Trump largely did so (though the relentless investigations of the Russia hoax were a constant distraction). Biden, on the other hand, has turned his entire presidency into a continuing war against his former opponent - making every policy decision a direct rebuke to Trump and his voters. This has been legitimately decried as "Third World" territory. Because if Biden was in fact legitimately elected, then he should govern as such and not fixate on - and seek to disqualify - his former opponent as an "enemy". What we saw Thursday night was not just unseemly, undignified and even "creepy". It was beyond all that. It was The Most Powerful Man on the Planet declaring himself illegitimate and unfit to hold the office.
A great one. I generally steer clear of politics on my personal Facebook page, but I shared this one. It’s ridiculous.
The Democrats must be congenitally mentally challenged. Look where Basket of Deplorables got Hillary. This is exponentially worse, on every level.
