Wow! What you write makes sense but I really wanted to vote GOP this election and I can't if it's Trump. I can't see voting for Biden either.

I find it difficult to believe that Trump would win the White House. The sure thing is that no good will come from any of the possible outcomes (I don't count the GOP 7 as a possible outcome, short of the incapacitation of the former president). I do see the logic in the bulk of your prognostication, and it truly increases the level of my disgust. I never thought there would be an election where I could not cast a vote, but we are headed there. SMOD?

Sadly I already hit that brick wall in 2020.

Here's more. Trump will get the nom, and it really doesn't matter who gets the Dem nom as they will cheat like hell or call off the election for the sake of "democracy." We have been spoiled and weak. We are headed for some hard times and out of it will forge a new day.

Interesting turn of events: Biden gets nominated, then drops out. My prognostication, a few articles back, was that Biden would win the race, but die or become incapacitated, possibly before the inauguration. Hail President Kamala Harris!

Hmmm....Dianne Feinstein became officially deceased today, opening up a seat in the Senate, from the state whence Kamala hails. The "hardball politics" solution is that the DNC machine (the Clintons plus Barack Obama) moves her back there and installs Newsom as the veep in preparation for 2024. Of course that would require someone to convince Kamala to make that sacrifice. And Newsom (who has no desire to be Biden's veep even for 5 minutes, even if it enlarges his presidential prospects). And Biden (who has zero intention of stepping down before, during or after the election). But as we have seen, the DNC machine is an orderly beast that gets its way.

It's so ironic that Democrat voters, who constantly cry foul about democracy and voters rights, etc. are oblivious to the fact that their votes are meaningless and the DNC machine orchestrates who will be their dear leaders.
