Glad you reposted this. I read an article from Fox News this morning talking about Democrat's affinity for private jets, while they preach about climate change. This quote fits well with your piece:
"Pelosi’s campaign spent $67,605 on private air travel just months before she said she viewed tackling the climate crisis as a "religious thing."
"For me, it's a religious thing," she said in November after leading a 21-member congressional delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland. "I believe this is God's creation, and we have a moral obligation to be good stewards."
The hypocrisy is ridiculous. But I think you're right in that it'll take small increments to get people to wake up and come back to sanity
Can't swing a dead cat around DC without hitting a dozen hypocrites. But, it's gotten really bad lately. We've started watching The Gilded Age on HBO, and I can't help but be reminded of how our political leaders, especially those on the Left, have the same attitude as the old-money bluebloods looking down on the riffraff, with whom they'd never ever rub elbows.
