I agree that Trump should have moved on long ago. However the election was at least "improper" with the Covid mailout ballots, early voting and unaccountable harvesting/drop boxes//handling/counting in certain states - in violation of existing state laws. This is reinforced by the results in 18 of 19 bellwether counties going for Trump as well as the bellwether states of FL (Trump +4), OH (+8) and IA (+8) - where such voting "shenanigans" didn't appear. Statistically it is infeasible that MI, PA, WI and GA went legitimately for Biden. But that battle needed to have been fought BEFORE election day. The Democrats understand that once the election is over and the ballots are counted, nobody's going to prove anything at that point. It's history.
What can and must be done is to reign in these rogue processes that enabled the shenanigans to ensure it doesn't happen again. See my column here:
Trump continuing this Jihad against anybody who won't say the words "cheated" or "stolen" - is not benefiting himself or the GOP brand. He should move on and say nothing more about it. As to who best to represent the GOP in 24, if Trump can't rein in his emotions (not likely) we really should be looking at an alternative that can touch the Trump-populist nerve without the emotion.
The final straw for me is Trump's treatment of others who were loyal to him, after he no longer needs them. I live in GA and his meddling in the state elections is going to do nothing other than help get Stacy Abrams elected. Trump's treatment of Brian Kemp and Brian Raffensperger have been despicable. And look at his treatment of Mike Pence. All the VP did was have Trump's back for 4 years, and now Trump takes a dump on him every chance he gets. I was willing to look past his flaws in 2016 because we needed someone to shake up the deep state, but no more.
I’d say that’s an accurate assessment.

Your last paragraph is the crux. This "litmus test" of his does no one any good.

It also, arguably, gave the Democrats the Senate in the runoffs. How different would things be if the GOP won one of those seats?
