Triple clap David, well said! So many points, but I'll stick to just a couple/ few.

Unicameral, absolutely. Can't tell you how easy it is to vote in our elections here in Nebraska because of this. And when they're not in session, they're out working their "normal" jobs, instead of perma-campaigning.

Judges, yes! I was thinking about this the other day. The only way my vote for a judge will make much difference is if I'm standing before them for a court case or jury duty. Other than that, unless they're a rogue judge, my vote doesn't really matter there.

Making it easier for lesser-known candidates to run, absolutely! Money plays a big part in this I think. I believe we'd have a more representative government, at the state and national level, if it weren't so difficult to run without name recognition.
