A friend recently puzzled over the astounding dearth of caterwauling from the pro-environment crowd over the toxic mess in East Palestine, OH, where a hundred fifty train cars derailed, spilling hundreds of thousands of pounds of known carcinogens into the earth.
Great work as usual Peter. I too just yesterday wrote up my take on that disaster. It is crazy how these things get (mis)handled. My particular approach was how the EPA mimicked (though indirectly) the CDC's "safe & effective" mantra with their handling of this calamity:
