We are hearing lots of rhetoric these days about how America and its military are "weak.” The evidence, they say, is clear: Russia has invaded Ukraine, and just destroyed an American unmanned drone. China is flying spy balloons overhead, and will invade Taiwan any day now. North Korea is testing ICBMs, and Iran is threatening Israel. All this is happening because the U.S.
Please *do* talk about what the military calls, “IO:” Information Operations. I learned a little about that a few years ago, as a Field Artillery officer. Russia appears to be winning the IO fight these days, given eroding support for supporting Ukraine. (And, no, I don’t support sending US Service Members to fight in Ukraine.)
It’s a slippery slope, to be sure. And, The War itself would seem to be internal. “Money for nothing and chicks for free.” How much to re-prioritize reprioritizations? Put the political spoils toward CRT/DEI and ESG/NGO?

True. Over the years, many liberals/Democrats have pushed for aggressive U.S. global military adventurism. (And lots of conservatives/Republicans have pushed for big taxes and spending on everything.) What can I say? The two major parties are not consistent.
