When I think of those who embrace non-GMO crops, I think of the ancient farmers who in their own way used genetic manipulation to enhance their crops. For example, the ancient version of corn was a sorry thing compared to what we have today.

Of course. Virtually every food crop today has been extensively manipulated, in trial-and-error fashion. Yet, today, when science allows unprecedented precision, we get the "it's Frankenfood" luddites thinking they're smarter than everyone else.

Whenever some green halfwit tries to sell me on the latest fad because it's "all natural", I say, "So is snake venom".
