WW1 ending in a stalemate??? It's hard to believe that the allies could have stood up to the German offensive after they had transferred most of the troops back from Russia without the American troops in the field.
Excellent article! Not sure I agree with the gloom and doom of the debt, though--because, firstly, I don't think entitlement programs are written in stone. And then, Trump appears to be running the country as if it were a business; e.g., reciprocal tariffs, American largesse relational to American interests, etc. I also don't think Hauser's Law is sacrosanct, nor that there is a lack of political will. I think DJT's aiming for glory in the historical record and will continue policies that will enhance our finances and give him a record-breaking administration. v/r Val "Pollyanna" Liles
