I penned and posted this piece way back in November 2016, shortly after Trump’s shock victory over Hillary Clinton, and I share it unedited but for formatting.
"Once you start believing that you are making things better for everyone else by running their lives, you’re bound to want to dome of it." I assume that is supposed to read do more of it. Just thought I'd point it out so you could fix it if you are inclined! Great article.
Wow. Your opening of the original piece felt like it was written in present day, and if you hadn't put that authors note at the beginning I probably would have thought it was current. How does that line about history go? It doesn't repeat but it often rhymes? Well, it's certainly rhyming now. Crazy.
I don't think the Democrats will learn from the '24 election honestly. Or, at least not enough for them to get control of congress back. Not until they put the childish whaling whiners in their place at least
History also tells us that mid-terms are usually bad for the incumbent party, especially in the House. Barring some really solid success by Trump, so solid that the MSM cannot overwhelm it with negative coverage, it's likely the House will flip blue in 2026.
Cocaine in general does not make you impotent. Actually quite the opposite. UNLESS you do too much, and then it can create performance issues. I am speaking from personal experience.
