“Unsafe” merely means “exposed to ideas with which I disagree, which causes me discomfort”.

Rather than rebut, they’d rather sit in a corner sucking their thumbs with their blankies and whine about how unsafe they feel. My guess is they lack the information with which to rebut, and the ability to amass that information and express it in a convincing manner.

Given my religious background, I suspect that many of my fellow believers are looking for Trump to make changes which will reflect their positions on issues such as abortion and contraception. There's also the Heritage 2525 project with its own "special" take on what Trump should do during his next term if elected. We saw how Fauci was able to lead Trump around by the nose. My concern is that Trump will be influenced by them and since he doesn't have to worry about re-election will do their bidding. We'll see.

The hyperbole leading up to 2016 was insane - I was on Facebook back in those days and couldn't believe THEN how unhinged the commenting was. Then in 2020 it was at least as bad. This year it's gone full off-rails. My concern is the unhinged rhetoric leads to unhinged behavior as "some" feel the election poses an existential threat. AOC's comments are not helpful in this regard: "some" will take them quite literally - at which point, well, anything is justified.

I'm looking at the behavior of the pro-Hamas idiots these days, and just know this is going to result in tragedies.

These law-breaking groups are not organic - they don't naturally spring up in response to controversy. They're funded, organized, trained and armed by external forces, resourced by people like Soros through his Open Society initiative. It's not secret, with the mainstream media openly reporting who and from whence the funding comes.

These are the shock-troops - the vanguard - of the New Left. "Palestine" may be AN issue for them to "rally round" - but there's global warming, UBI, race, LGBTQIA+, etc - a never ending list that gets added to every year. The better question is, what's the point of all this violence? What's the real aim of those funding this disparate range of "antagonizers"?

Some of these people appear to be truly deranged. Robert De Niro said "Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city but the country, and eventually he can destroy the world." Does he actually believe this? Destroy the world? Where do you go from there? I guess there's always destroy the universe, but I'm not sure how Trump does that if he's destroyed the world. I guess he could do it from the ISS...

I hesitate to overuse TDS, but...

It is likely there is a lot of overlap between the subset of people who don't like government to be limited in what it can do and the subset of people who think that Trump could make himself emperor if elected.
