Editor’s Note: I published a version of this a decade ago, and was reminded of it when I read a recent story about how Pepperidge Farm’s Goldfish crackers are going to be (temporarily) renamed Chilean Sea Bass.
I always questioned things I thought were wrong. Much to the dismay of my parents, how dare I question their authority, lol. As I grew into adulthood, I never stopped and it has served me well throughout my life. Question everything, especially the government. Those who would go through life accepting everything at face value become the sheep easily led to slaughter.
The Radio Corporation of America ceased to exist decades ago, but you can still buy TVs and other products whose otherwise anonymous manufacturers have licensed the RCA logo.
I think they broke the paradigm with the Inflation Reduction Act.

Made me look! Nicely done!

Somehow the end of my comment got cut off, I meant to refer to otherwise anonymous companies that license the use of the RCA name on their products.
When I read about the re-naming of Goldfish to Chilean Sea Bass I assumed, at first, that it was a Babylon Bee article.
