The "Nazi" pejorative has replaced "racist" due to the latter's overuse. People, especially on the Right, are desensitized to being called "racist". The term has lost its meaning. And soon "Nazi" will as well - because as the meme goes "Everybody who doesn't agree with me is Hitler!" So - the reasonable question is what will replace "Nazi" when it loses its pizzaz?
I think that the administration sees great peril in the Left's siding with Hamas, given how the election isn't that far away. So, it's political expediency. I wait to see what Biden will actually do.

I don't know, but I'm sure there will be a new word. It's how that crowd operates.

I absolutely concur with your conclusion that the destruction of Israel is the obvious, if unstated goal.

AFAIK, it's an overt and openly declared position. Iran has said so, as well. Good luck finding the quotes in social media.
