It's funny hearing comments like that from George Takei who, along with his family, were among the Japanese-Americans interred by Franklin D. Roosevelt (D). I know George was just five years old at the time, but I'm pretty sure he remembers it.
Takei very much remembers it. He's been vocal about it much of his life. Sadly, like so many erstwhile critics of government excess, he's now all-in on Big Government that does what *he* wants. He makes the same mistake as so many other statists - he assumes that Big Government can be a force for good if only the correct people are put in charge.
That ignores the entirety of human history and everything we know about human nature.
DEAD ON!
Well said, clean pointed practical
I’d like give an adroit response, incisive comments dripping from my razor like tongue. But I’d be wasting bytes.
Frack the Left, the same group who will do the ‘who me’ if their own misdeeds take root
