Political Divergence

Three years ago, almost to the day, I ran a bit about the nation marching toward a major fracture, with the forces of the Left jackbooting the rest of the nation toward ever greater disagreement and strife. In it, I noted how Biden ran on a promise of moderation and return to normalcy, only to veer hard-left the moment he sat behind the Resolute Desk.

Today, we are witnessing the early stages of a similar bait-and-switch effort regarding Kamala Harris. Harris, as I’ve noted here, here, here, and here LINK FRIDAY ARTICLE, is by both assertion and record on the left fringe of the American political spectrum. Her campaign, along with the rest of The Machine*, is working hard to memory-hole her leftist bona fides in favor of a more moderate portrayal that won’t scare swing voters.

Anyone who believes this repackaging effort, who thinks that Harris will stay on her new-found middle-ground, truly deserves “the government they get, good and hard.”
